Help with white screen and missing dashboard?

Hi, my blog is http://www.shantinepalisamaaj.co.uk. I have suddenly encountered a white screen when i try to access it. Nothing loads, not even the dashboard. I believe the issue may be caused by one of the plugins since I updated a plugin just before this happened. but i cannot access the dashboard in order to deactivate the plugin.
I have read that the solution is to login through a FTP client and then disable the plugin from there. I have downloaded FileZilla and I attempted to login using domain name as host, and username and password but I keep receiving the error ‘Connection refused by the server’.
Am I doing something wrong in Filezilla? Am I entering the wrong host? If so where can I find such information? Or is there another way of solving this problem?

This forum is only for blogs/sites hosted by WordPress.comWordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

You’re running a self-hosted WordPress install, while this support forum is for blogs hosted at WordPress.com. Blogs on WordPress.com do not have FTP access nor the ability to install custom plugins.
You should post your issue in the WordPress.org support forum, which would deal with your self-hosted blog’s issue:
