Help with WordPress Domain name change?

  I purchased a domain name through WordPress 2 days ago.

  I’d like to change it to:

  Nancystechlessontoolkit.com

  Is this possible or do I have to pay for a brand new domain name?

  Hi Nancy –

  We’d have to cancel mytechlessontoolkit.com to add the domain that you want. Once you cancel the domain you might be able to get it back.

  Can you just confirm that you’d like to cancel that domain, and then we’ll cancel it, issue you a credit and you can use the credit to purchase the domain you want. (Double-check that it is available before we cancel the old one, just in case.)

  Hi Bruce,

  I did just check and the domain name I should have put is available. Can you let me know when the old domain has been canceled and I have been recredited so I can set it up?

  OK. I’ve cancelled the domain and issued the credit. You can go ahead and register the name, and when you get to checkout, you’ll be able to pay with the credits.
