Help with WordPress site hosted through Dreampress

Hello. I am working for a small business and the owner has her own domain name purchased through DreamHost that is run through WordPress. I have been trying to log into the site but keep getting the error that corinelandrieu.com refused to connect and ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED.
It somehow just started working again, but until then, it wasn’t recognizing her username as a valid WordPress username nor her email. I also had already started to check some of what is in the wp-config.php file and I noticed that the entries
/** The name of the database for WordPress */
define(‘DB_NAME’, ‘name’);/** MySQL database username */
define(‘DB_USER’, ‘username’);/** MySQL database password */
define(‘DB_PASSWORD’, ‘password’);do not actually match those fields that she has used and saved. Should this be changed to the current fields to avoid issues in the future?

Sounds like you actually need help for a WordPress powered site, not a site hosted at WordPress.com. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are a little separate, and that can be confusing.
You’ll want to use the forums at https://wordpress.org/support/ for any support on managing your site. Hope that helps to point you in the right direction!
