Help – WordPress site is gone.

    I’ve made a local wordpress website using MAMP. I downloaded WordPress on my mac and made the website. Everything went fine, until the website was done and I had to move it to an existing domain I bought.

    That’s when it went wrong. I don’t know what I did, but I can’t access the local website of WordPress anymore (it says: Error establishing a database connection) and the MySQL server in MAMP also has a red light now.

    What did I do wrong? And can I still use the website I made?

    We do not provide support for any local installs of WordPress.ORG software or any hosted WordPress.ORG software here at WordPress.COM. You are posting to the wrong support forum.
