Hemingway rewritten: changing colour of line separators
-
Hello,
I am using the Hemingway Rewritten theme, and recently changed line that shows up at the bottom of my posts to the colour black.
The problem is that the lines above/below the section at the bottom of the page showing the previous/ next posts is still the original grey colour and I haven’t been able to figure out the CSS to change it.
I would greatly appreciate it if someone could inform me what the correct CSS is to change the colour of these lines (see this page for example: http://thorayaelrayyes.net/2014/12/01/renegade-writers-a-dialog-with-hisham-bustani-naomi-shihab-nye-thoraya-el-rayyes/).

Hi there, the .site-info div has a top border that is specified in RGB color with an alpha transparency. Add this to your CSS and then you can edit the color and transparency, or replace rgba(…) with a hex color of your choosing.
.site-info { border-top: 2px solid rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.1) } -
Hi,
Thanks for the feedback. That code didn’t seem to change anything on my site for some reason though…

Hmmm, I just tried it directly in your customizer with a red color code and the line right above the footer credits turned red. Did you change the color code in the above CSS I gave? Try this, which has my red color code.
site-info { border-top: 2px solid #CC0000; }If that isn’t the line you are talking about, can you give me a URL where I can see it?

Hello again,
Strangely enough, no red line seems to show up when I enter that code.
An example of the lines I am talking about is in the link below. They are the two grey lines at the bottom of the page, above and below the text “Stillness and Motion: In conversation with Shireen Talhouni”
Thanks for your patience. I don’t usually have trouble with editing the CSS on my site but this one seems to have me stumped!

Ah, now I see what you are talking about. Add the following and then adjust the colors as desired. Again, I have used red in my example.
.site-main .comment-navigation, .site-main .paging-navigation, .site-main .post-navigation { border-bottom: 4px solid #cc0000; border-top: 4px solid #cc0000; } -
