Hemingway Rewritten CSS reduce blank space below menu and above footer
-
Hi, I wonder if anyone can help with this – I would like to reduce the blank spaces below my black menu bar, and between the page content and the black footer area.
I would also like to slightly reduce the blank area above and below the footer widgets (whilst of course retaining the Blog at WordPress.com footnotes).
Any help appreciated!

Hi, for the space between the menu and content, add the following and adjust the 100px value as desired.
.site-content { margin-top: 100px; }Then open the Home page in the editor and go to the very bottom. You have an empty paragraph after “Read more news and reviews for Summer of ’76 …”. Remove that empty paragraph.

Hi thesacredpath, thanks again – that sorts the top margin perfectly.
I’ve taken out that empty para on the home page, but there still remains a fairly large empty space above the footer on every page (with a pale white line running through it). Can this be reduced?

Whoops, I did that and then got sidetracked before posting it. :(
Add this and adjust the 3.4em bottom padding to what you want.
.hentry { padding-bottom: 3.4em; } -
