Hemingway Rewritten search box and follow button

  I’ve set up Hemingway Rewritten on my new blog, and so far it’s good but I noticed in the footer where I have a couple of widgets, that there are a couple of issues that need to be fixed.

  There’s a white space after the search button.

  The follow button is the same colour as the background, which I think will make it hard for people to know it’s a button to click on if they want to follow my blog.

  Any way to fix those things? I’m on the free plan, as I plan to move to self-hosted at some point if the blog shows promise.

  @thecornishninja, just reporting back to say both the issues you reported about the colors for the search box and follow button inside footer widgets in the Hemingway Rewritten theme have been fixed.

  skonegirlarmy – you can make colour changes like that with the Custom Design upgrade. This CSS code would make the search button in the widget purple, but you can choose any colour you like:

  .widget_search .search-submit {
       background: #bb00bb;
       border: 1px solid #bb00bb;
  }
