Hemingway theme change header box

  I would like to change the black header box in the hemingway theme to a png image or just a transparent background. Could someone help me with css? thanks!

  Actually, after searching via wordpress, I found the following link:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/custom-header-image/

  I had to delete one of my images permanently then select the Header option from the settings. Now my Header is exactly as I envisioned it.
