Hemingway WordPress Theme Resize Header
-
I realize that there are a lot of posts with this similar heading but I’ve tried them and I can’t get it to work! Nothing changes!
I need to make the header shorter as I am getting complaints from people that the picture and the menu bar take up so much space that they can’t see the page title and therefore don’t know whether they have moved from one page to another when they use the menu links.
I have put various bits of code into the header section of the css style sheet and it never changes on the actual website.
Am I doing something wrong?
What do I need to do to make the header shorter?
(I am signed in under a different account and the Blog URL is wrong. The actual website is: oswestrycivicsociety.org.uk )
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi!
Can you try this bit of CSS?
div#custom-header { height: 300px; }That should shrink the height of the header section! On your self-hosted site, you can place that under Appearance -> Edit CSS.
