Hep with CSS!

    I would love some help with CSS on the adelle theme! I am struggling to get my head round it..

    What I wanted to do is put some headings in the sidebar widget, so when my readers click on those images they see all my posts relevant to the heading {does that make sense!?!}

    I basically want those 7 headings down the sidebar, quite close together, so they are not taking up too much widget space, can this be done? I am really struggling with the coding and really have no idea as to what it should be, or even which widget I should be using for something like this! Any help would be much appreciated!!

    Hi there, you can use individual Image Widgets, but they will not be close together by default since they would be separate widgets. Padding and margins could be adjusted on those specific widgets using CSS, but my first suggestion would be to use a text widget. The following two links should get you well on your way to creating the look you want with your images in the sidebar.

    Text Widget
    Text Widget Links

    Oh thank you so much!! Its that simple?!

    One more question, if you don’t mind? Can I reduce the spacing between each widget? to bring them all closer together? For instance my search widget seems quite far away from the social media widget, can i make them closer together?

    No problem and you are welcome.

    To tighten up spacing between widgets, add the following. I set the bottom margin to 0 and included the original bottom padding. If you need things closer, just reduce the bottom padding.

    .widget {
        margin-bottom: 0;
        padding-bottom: 2.308em;
    }
