Hero content – where do I edit it?! URGENT

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi, I’m helping my friend with her site.

    She originally added an email address that appeared on the homepage only beneath the site title and tagline. I have now added a new banner image that contains the site name so I have turned off the display option but the email address is still appearing over the top of the banner image.

    I cannot find anywhere or way of editing it. In the guide to this theme it talks about hero content (which I believe this email address has been attributed to) but there’s hero content option?

    I’ve viewed the source and it seems to be part of the site branding (which I assume is the site identity customisation section?) but there’s definitely no email address for me to delete in that section.

    The site is about to get promoted as of TONIGHT so I’d really appreciate any help asap.

    Here’s the code (it’s just the email address I want rid of).

    Hi,

    Use this CSS to hide the white email address on header:

    .wf-active .hero-section .hero-title {display: none;}

    Let us know if you need any help.

  • Hi @karmonycoaching,

    In this case, you can remove the text without CSS.

    To do so, visit My Site > Customize > Theme Options > Homepage Template.

    You’ll find the email address there in the Hero Title section. Just delete it from there and save the changes.
