Hero (cover) blok
-
I do not have an option cover or hero in the list of blocks. I am using new version (6.9) of WordPress. All blocks are allowed. I am not using any plugin that would block it.

In WordPress 6.9, the Cover block should be available by default, but its absence usually points to a hidden setting in the Block Manager or a browser cache conflict rather than a missing feature. To fix this, click the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner of the editor, select Preferences, and navigate to the Blocks tab to ensure “Cover” isn’t unchecked; if it is, checking it—or clicking “Reset”—will force it back into your inserter. If the block still doesn’t appear, try opening a completely new, blank page and using the top-left “+” inserter, as some themes may restrict specific blocks like the Cover block from appearing inside narrow columns or “locked” template sections. Lastly, perform a hard refresh (Ctrl + F5) of your browser, as the editor relies on the REST API to fetch the block list, and an outdated cache can sometimes fail to display the full library after a WordPress update.
