Hero theme problem

  Hi i am using the Hero template theme, but can’t get it to look like the demo. I have set it to front page like the instructions, but don’t see the options to add the picture slider etc.
  Any place to get better instructions ?

  To add the slider, add a tag under Appearance → Customize → Featured Content. Use this tag on posts with a featured image, and they’ll show up in the slider.

  The tag name can be anything as long as it is same in the Appearance → Customize → Featured Content and on the posts.

  Give it a try and let me know how it goes.

  Looks like you started the process – you’ve added the tag “Effects” in the Featured Content panel in the Customizer.

  Next, you’ll need to publish at least two posts for the slider, and give them both the tag Effects. Keep in mind that the tag is case-sensitive.

  Add a featured image to each of your slider posts that meet this minimum size:

  The homepage featured post slider has the suggested image dimensions of 960 wide and 350 tall

  Let me know if you get stuck again and we’ll figure out what’s going on.

  Thanks for the answers have done the tag and posts with a featured images but they show up as titles not images in a slider like on the hero demo. Is it because i added a header image ?
  Any other ideas and thanks again

  All your posts are currently set to private. You’ll need a least two published, non-private posts for the slider to appear. Please let me know if that does the trick!
