Hever theme main image is faded…despite CSS

  • Unknown's avatar

    I’m using the Hever theme for my website PostApoxGamer.com and the main banner image is faded. The “guy in armor with the dog” image is supposed to be much more vivid, but there seems to be some overlay or opacity issue…not sure what.

    I am a Premium member and added the below to the CSS for the site, but it doesn’t seem to have changed anything.

    .header-overlay:before {
    display: none;
    }

    You can see what I mean at this link to my page. The guy and his dog look nearly invisible, but it does not look like this in Photoshop.

    Can you help?
    Thanks,
    Rich

  • Hi there,

    I’m not sure I fully understand your issue. I visited postapoxgamer.com but you seem to have linked to your homepage, and I do not see an image of a guy and a dog. You can see a screenshot of what I see here:

    Am I looking in the wrong place, and the image you are referring to is on another page beside your homepage? Or is the issue one that can be seen on a different site under a different URL instead?

    If so what is the URL of the site (or direct link to the page with the issue) so we can take a closer look?

    Thanks for the additional info!
