Hever too old or still updated?

Hello,
I want to use the theme Hever, but I cant find the Information if there are still updates of the theme. Dont want to use a to old theme that brings trouble :)
Does anyone know?

Hever is essentially a finished product at this point.
No further updates are needed, unless bugs are introduced in future WordPress updates, in which case it will receive bug fixes.

Thanks a lot! Does that mean that it will not cause any problems in future when wordpress is updated? Because I heard that those problems come if the theme is quite old and not updated any more.
and the same question for Shawburn.
And in shawburn: on the home site “home” is written on top of the site when I use it. Thats not the case in the demo version. Could you tell me how to change that?

Hi there, Staff will reply when they look in on this thread.
Meantime, both those themes you mentioned were created to use the block editor, so neither are very old as current themes go. There are much older themes in use here.
As far as the home page title appearing on your site, you can check a box in the Customizer>Homepage settings to hide the homepage title from displaying. Here’s a temporary screenshot If you meant something else, please let me know.
Also, looking at your site, I’m seeing a site menu that uses page ID’s rather than the published page URL, which is what you should use in a custom menu. Have a look here https://wordpress.com/support/menus/create-a-menu/

yes I guess that suddenly the mainpaige (home) ist not defined as the mainpage anymore. But I cant find where to change it. I looked at the sceenshot and I can choose between blog and home there. But in my case I can choose between blog and a paying page.
So when I am working on a site I should not save it as a draft but immediately publish it? I used the menu that was already the, just changed it. How could I do it wrong?
Today colors just chaged suddelny and other stuff as well, hope thats just today :)

Hi again, as a volunteer I cannot see behind the scenes of your site/theme settings.
It does sound like you might have switched themes and when you do that, you should see a screen asking you whether you want to keep your current homepage content or switch to the new theme homepage content.
If something switched, you can go to your Customizer and under Homepage settings, you can choose your the published page that was your homepage. If that page has reverted to a draft page, you’ll need to publish it again.
I’m not sure I understand what you mean by “I can choose between blog and a paying page.” Could you explain?
About colors: Colors can also be reset in the Customizer. If something changed there, you can open the Customizer to “Colors & Background” and reset the theme to its default colors. Remember to publish your changes.
About the menu: I’m not sure what you mean by “just changed it.” Pages in a menu need to be published. If the pages are not published, those pages will only be visible to you, but to anyone else they will be 404 errors.
In general, if you are still working on your site but do not want other people to access it yet, consider changing your site visibility to Private until you are ready. https://wordpress.com/support/settings/privacy-settings/

Correct. If you have pages set as “draft” still, you cannot add them to your menu, and you cannot set them as your home page. You are only able to do that if the pages are “published”

right now there are two more question: first, buttons like the send button on the contakt site are not visible anymore when you want to klick on it.
and second: If I have a picture on the left and text on the right, its not good on the phone but great on the desctop. Can I change it just for the phone? So that just for the phone the picture comes first and then the text? (example my site: Einzelsitzungen)

Are you speaking of how the button goes white when you move your mouse cursor over it? That’s a bug in Shawburn, and it has already been reported to our developers to look into.

You can’t change this for mobile only, no. But if you use the combined Media and Text block, instead of adding separate image and text blocks next to each other, it can adjust automatically to show the content in a single column on mobile, rather than side-by-side:

I am still using shawburn and want to report, that now not only the buttons go white when you move your mouse cursor over it, but one button is white now allways (still works, I know where it is, but is not visible)
Would be great if this could be solved !

Yes, this is also a known issue with the Shawburn theme: https://github.com/Automattic/themes/issues/5351
The workaround is to select the buttons block and manually set the background color within the editor.

ok thank you, that helped.But still the “send” button for example turns white when I go there with the mouse cursor. Is there also a strategy to change that? Or will it probably solved soon or just stay like this?
Also I have another question, I would like to add the possibility for people to choose to get the newsletter when contacting me. Is it possible to integrate that in the contact formular or is it only possible in an extra mailchimp part?

We’ve reported the issue to our developers so, hopefully, it will be fixed soon but we don’t have an estimated date for that.

A newsletter would be independent of your contact form so it can’t be integrated like that. You can gather the emails from the contact form and put them manually into your mailing list, or you can use one of these services to automatically sign users up for your newsletter:
