Hevor theme – unable to chanage author name for a guest poster

  Most of the blogs posted on my site are mine. I am now planning on a publishing a few posts by guest posters. However, I am unable to change my author name to that of a guest poster. There is an author drop down box (with my name) but no actual option in that box to add an additional name. I suspect that this is doable, and that I may need to add the guest posters name somewhere else on the dashboard etc for it to appear as an additional name option? My site is a Hevor theme.

  Hi there @windlesoul to have your guest author’s name appear with their article, you’d need to invite them to your site in either the Author or Contributor role. You can learn more about User Roles in this Support guide: https://wordpress.com/support/invite-people/user-roles/

  Ok thanks. Looks like I need to invite them as a contributor.
