Hey:) Can i pick what photo will appear for the new post i just put out?

    Hello,
    I just put together a new post and it has several images inserted within. Now, when i hit publish, my post will come out naturally on the homepage for others to see; but when it’s on the homepage, it will display with the title, one image, right? which is one of the images i used inside the post, but can i actually pick which image i want to appear with the post’s title? Or is it by default?
    tried the ‘Feature photo’ option on the left of the screen, but that changes my blog’s image right? not only the post’s?

    It sounds like what you’re wanting is the “Featured Image” option, as you’ve mentioned. This would set the default image associated with a post preview.

    It is possible that your theme uses the Featured Image for the most recent post(s) for the homepage as well, but that depends on the theme.
