Hello, Ive been trying to write a blog post for the past 24 hours and it is still not working. Please help.

You should be able to create a new post by clicking on the Write link at the top right in the Admin bar on your site katjohana.com (temp screenshot)
Alternatively, you can start a new post from https://wordpress.com/post/katjohana.com or in the WP Admin dashboard at https://katjohana.com/wp-admin/post-new.php all those will open the Block Editor. If you want to write with the WP Admin Classic Editor, try https://katjohana.com/wp-admin/post-new.php?classic-editor
If those links don’t work for you, please give us more details on what you mean by “isn’t working”? Is the Editor not opening for you? Is it opening, but the page is blank? The more details you can give us the better we can help you.

HI there I cannot even get started beyond a payment plan which I am not prepared to enter into until I can find out if the site is any good. Great play made of the site being free for that purpose but as far as I can see it is a fiction

@theoldcrofter, you can create a free site, if you decide to use a free subdomain (like one ending with .wordpress.com). If you’re trying to add a custom domain, you’ll need to continue with a paid plan.
