re: the front page error message found on every new .wordpress.com blog
Nothing Found
It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching can help. There is nothing wrong with your site. By default the front page of the blog is the only page that will display all published posts on it. As soon as you publish a post not a page the front page error message and searchbox that appears on every new WordPress.COM blog will be gone. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
I recommend using the step by step tutorial linked to the bottom of your Admin page https://learn.wordpress.com
See also the “Video Quick Start” tutorial http://en.support.wordpress.com/video-quick-start/
https://en.support.wordpress.com/five-step-blog-setup/The support documentation is all found at the Support link http://en.support.wordpress.com which is also linked to on the bottom of your Admin page.

But it is not a blog, but a website. I do not plan to do any posts.
Is there a way to remove it without publishing blog entry? Or post an entry, that will not be visible elsewhere.Thank you.

A blog is a website.
A blog is a post based website designed for interactive communication. As the posts are frequently updated and appear on the front page of the site it’s very attractive to search engines.
What most people call a website is merely a page based site that functions as a one way noticeboard. As the structure is page based and as pages are for static content that rarely changes, and as pages do not have RSS feeds, and as others do not backlink to pages, it is not as attractive to search engines as a post based blog structured site is.
Any WordPress blog can be restructured from being post based to being page based – no upgrade required. For greater clarity read > http://en.support.wordpress.com/using-wordpress-to-create-a-website/

This is an one or the other situation. You have two choices on any blog
(1) All posts on the front page.
(2) A static front page http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/ and all posts on a different page.re: static front page
By default the front page of your blog displays all published posts (not pages) in reverse chronological order, with the most recently published post on top. That is for the convenience of your returning visitors who will not be happy to have to click through an About page every time they visit your blog as they come to read your most recently published content. Creating that situation can make some visitors annoyed – so annoyed that they stop following your blog. However, if you do not want all the posts to show on the front page, then you can create a static front page called for example “Welcome” for your site and a “Blog” page for all published posts (not pages) to display on in reverse chronological order, with the most recently published post on top.
To do that create two pages first http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/
After you do that you go to > Settings > Reading and make the designation change for each of the two page and click “save changes”.
A static page (select below)
Front page:
Posts page:Your detailed theme description page link is at this link https://wordpress.com/themes/gateway and the live demo site link is here https://gatewaydemo.wordpress.com/

Thank you for your reply. But my problem is quite simple. Visit my page, it is pretty much final. All i need is to get rid of that Nothing Found message. I have STATIC FRONT PAGE, and NO blog entry. What must i do to get that Nothing Found message disappear.
Thank you.

I am sorry you did not understand my instructions above at https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/hi-99?replies=6#post-2475611 were not helpful. That is the first step and the second step is to create a custom menu and include only exactly which pages you want to include in it. (I.E. Do not include the Home page).
http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/
https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/view-all/#adding-pagesYou will also need to disable this on your menu page at
http://mickymarky.wordpress.com/wp-admin/nav-menus.php on the bottom right hand corner:
Menu SettingsAuto add pages
__ Automatically add new top-level pages to this menu -

I created page for Blog Posts, made setting change in Reading, and published a post. Still i have post showing on my Static Front page… :-(
-
Did you create a custom menu and add only the pages you wanted to display into it ?

Yes. I did all that. I have a page for Blog Posts, which is NOT in my custom menu. Still on my static front page is a blog post…((

I thank you for your help. If you have any idea what could possibly be wrong, tell me. :-(
-
I found what was the problem. I had active template Home Page, on all my pages, for bringing content to the middle. If i disable the template, blog post is gone.
-
Now i can’t figure, how to make all content show up in the middle of page, without activating that Home Page Template… :-(
Any idea? -
Never mind, got it too. Just needed to select another Template.
Thanks for support. Closing thread.
