Hi can you help me with my blog appearance?

  I would like my homepage to be a list of more recent blogs in this format – a photo, then a short beginning of the text on that post, then the next post with the same, so readers can scroll through photos and brief beginnings of text to select from the most recent blogs.

  Also, how do I ditch the “capriciouspropinquity.wordpress.com” and just have a permanent abidingholiday.com which is my current web address? I also don’t need the blog “andthatswhatahppens”. How do I get rid of that as well?

  Your current theme offers a look very much like that. You can read about how to set it up at the link below. If you run into any trouble with that, let me know.

  This isn’t actually possible. Your custom domain abidingholiday.com is mapped to capriciouspropinquity.wordpress.com so your visitors only see abidingholiday.com. All WordPress.com sites also have .wordpress.com domains because it’s required for us to host your site here, and because it means if you ever decide to cancel your mapped domain, you will still have your content available at your free domain.

  I also don’t need the blog “andthatswhatahppens”. How do I get rid of that as well?

  You have a couple of options on this front. They are explained below:
