  I help a friend with there non-profit with updates to there website and it looks like it got hacked. We can log in and the reset my password is not working. It is redirecting to another site.
  The website is on-my-own.org.

  I’m afraid that your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.

  Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.   You can look for help at the community forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

  http://wordpress.org/support/ is also a great resource for sites using the open-source WordPress.org software.

  However, if you feel your website got hacked, please follow the following :

  1. You can change both your WordPress.com account username and your display name

  Yes, the domain on-my-own.org is not hosted with us. I would touch base with your site host and see if they can provide any assistance.
