    We can’t help you as your site isn’t running on the wordpress.com platform but is hosted by Bluehost. You must contact Bluehost support.

    Hi there,

    Are you trying to activate it via the WordPress.com theme showcase at My Site ->Appearance ->Themes?

    I see your site is connected here via Jetpack, using your temporary domain Bluehost gave you, but I only get a 404 error when I try to visit that domain, and the Jetpack connection is broken. If you’ve been trying to activate the theme from your WordPress.com account, that’s why.

    Log into WP-Admin on your site, disconnect Jetpack, and reconnect it, so it creates a new connection with your permanent domain for the site. Once you’ve done that, you should be able to install Russell.

    Alternatively, you can download and install Russell manually from WP-Admin ->Appearance ->Themes ->Add New ->Upload on your site. You can download the self-hosted versions of Russell and Blockbase (you’ll need to install both) at the bottom of the page at https://wordpress.com/theme/russell

    Russell is an Automattic theme, and one that’s not available in the WordPress.org theme directory, so our forums are the only place someone could get help with this particular theme, regardless of where they’re hosted.
