hi, thanks for your previous support and I have now created a table on one of my pages, this is a timetable of classes. I have added hyperlinks on the course codes so that a visitor can click on the course code and see a details page.. this is all working very well, but I can’t get back to the original table… this is all published privately at the moment, maybe it will work when I go public, but at the mo I have to come right out of the site and back in to see the page with the original timetable … please could you help here??
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi!
Could you point me to the title of the page or post where you have the table on your site so I can take a look?
If I understand correctly, the issue is that when you click a link, you’re directed away from the table. Then, there’s no way for you to get back to the main table. Is that correct?
If so, there are two ways to fix this:
- We could set the links to open in a new tab leaving the table open in the previous tab:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/links/#creating-links
When you create a link, you should see the option to check a box to open the link in a new tab as shown in the instructions above.
- We can add the newly created table page to your menu so that readers can use the menu navigation to get back to the original table. We’ll want to do this after the page is public.
- We could set the links to open in a new tab leaving the table open in the previous tab:

actually the site I am talking about is http://www.granarystudio.com… and the page is private currently …called courses …. it is a large table which I have used the HTML code for from the support bumph on ‘tables’… one column is course code and I have hyperlinked out to 25 different course code pages which are public but are not included in my custom menu.. could i just do a ‘return to table click’? not sure what you mean in your info above, but if you can see on my site then great

Thanks for clarifying! I believe the easiest way to do this is the following:
- Navigate to your Courses page here:
https://granarystudio.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=37&action=edit
- Click your mouse on one of the course links
- Click the link button in your menu as shown here:
- Make sure the “Open in new tab” box is checked as shown here:
That way, the links will all open in new tabs, and visitors will not be directed away from your course listing. Does that work?
- Navigate to your Courses page here:
