Hi, I just registered a new domain with wordpress.

  Hi,

  Hi, I just registered a new domain with wordpress. A friend just finished unlocking (frontview.org) from a different host provider. I was wondering if (frontview.org) is now linked directly to (frontview.wordpress.com) account? I would like to design this newer domain independently from (frontview.wordpress.com). Do I have to cancell and refund it and start all over again? Or can i just keep it seperate from my (frontview.wordpress.com) account. I think I have to start all over again. What can I do?

  On WordPress.com, custom domains, like frontview.org, must be associated with WordPress.com sites, like frontview.wordpress.com, where your content is actually hosted.

  Hi Pmciano,

  Ok, just so that I don’t miss something here. If I open up another new wordpress.com site. Can I switch my frontview.org over to the new registered wordpress.com site? Or do I have to cancell it, wait until it gets unlocked from wordpress domain hosting. Then re-register it again with the new wordpress.com domain I just made?

  I would like to keep my frontview.wordpress.com totally seperate from my new frontview.org site. looks like I jumped the gun here and just registered without realizing that they actually can’t be seperated.. Maybe I am missing something. What the easyest?

  If you ever want frontview.org to be re-associated with another WordPress.com site of yours, let us know, and we will be happy to move it for you. It’s no problem at all.

  Hi Pmciano,

  I was wondering if you could take you up on your offer and get you to switch over my frontview.org from my current domain host at frontview.wordpress.com over to kuvatrevor.wordpress.com for me. I want to leave my old frontview.wordpress.com alone and join the newer frontview.org that I registered with you guys over to my new domain at kuvatrevor.wordpress.com and make a fresh start!

  First, you need to create kuvatrevor.wordpress.com:

  https://signup.wordpress.com/signup/

  Then, I can transfer the domain for you.
