  hi I need to no the host location or IP address, my ftp username, and ftp password. How can i get these 3 things to type in threw my go daddy account for migrating my exsisting wordpress site. I need to connect everything so I can start blogging please help thanks or can someone call me directly i dont understand the forums my direct contact is 818 358-9251 maryam

  Please get in touch with your web host for your ftp details. They will be able to help you.

  Once you gain access to your self-hosted sites ftp account and dashboard, you can move to WordPress.com by following the instructions in this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-from-self-hosted-wordpress-to-wordpress-com/

  who is web host i was told i need to get all that info from wordpress.com my ip address and ftp username and password i am with godaddy and i am connecting my exsisting godaddy with wordpress.com and threw godaddy i go in and type all this info in to connect everything godaddy customer service said this info is with wordpress.com they do not have it or no how to get it I am totally confuse and don't no what i am doing please can u help

  There is only dashboard on WordPress.com, which you can access at http://girly2dolls.wordpress.com/wp-admin

  WordPress.com doesn’t use FTP and hence doesn’t provide FTP username and password. Everything is managed via dashboard.

  If you wish to move your self-hosted blog to WordPress.com, check the information in the support guide I linked in my previous update.
