When you go to Pages > Add New, enter some content in to the editor window, and then click the “Save Draft” button, a draft is saved. It will not be published unless you do one of the following:
1. Click the Publish button, or
2. Change the publish date and time, and click the Schedule button. In this case it will be published on the scheduled date, at the scheduled time. -
When you go to Pages > Add New…
I meant to say Posts or Pages. The above information applies in either case.
If you visit Posts > All Posts, post drafts will be identified as such, under each post title. Also, there are tabs at the top of the All Posts list of posts to filter them by the following status types: “Published,” “Sticky,” “Draft,” “Trash.”
If you visit Pages > All Pages, page drafts will be identified as such, under each page title. Also, there are tabs at the top of the All Pages list of pages to filter them by the following status types: “Published,” “Draft,” “Trash.”

Correction: The bold “Draft” labels at All Posts or All Pages appear beside or under each title of a draft post or page, respectively.
