When you cancel a domain, there is no guarantee that it will be available for a very long time.
https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/cancel-domain/But as you have mentioned, you have canceled it a few hours ago, you may get it back. Only a staff member can help you with this.

shutterspace.co.uk was cancelled and will remain parked until it’s original expiry date. The good news is, I can restore the domain back to your site if it’s needed before that time. We have already refunded the domain cost so I would need to send a payment request for that amount first.
Do you want to continue using the domain on WordPress.com or would you like to use it on a site hosted elsewhere?
