Hi I tried to get my domain name to be lizconnorallen.com but is is showing lizconnorallencom.

  Is there a way to have the domain show online to start with the $18 fee or will this cost for the domain right away.

  Hi there,

  Custom domains like lizconnorallen.com are a paid upgrade – to use a domain like that it first has to be registered with a registry, in this case the one that controls all .com domains, and that comes with a fee.

  Additionally, if you want that domain to be visible in the browser address bar if someone visits your site, you’ll also need one of our paid plans. You can also register a domain without buying a plan, but then the free WordPress.com address will appear in the browser, and the domain will just redirect to it.
