  Hi I want to buy a theme – it cost 109 dollars, is this a one off purchase or a yearly rate?

  Hello,

  Buying a theme is a one off purchase, not a yearly rate.

  When you purchase a premium theme, it is available for the lifetime of that blog.

  I also checked WordPress.com’s premium themes and found no theme that costs 109 US dollars (correct me if I’m wrong). Were you referring to another dollar currency?

  Hi sorry it is 107 dollars- the them I want to buy is – Portfolio from the The Theme Foundry.
  Because it is going to take me time to re-arrange the content of my blog – elsasantos.net – I wonder if I can create my site using another domain name other than elsasantos.net and once I have finished editing the contant – then to rename it using my domain name elsasantos.net

  the only themes you can use here are purchased from WordPress.COM – no third party themes allowed

  @auxclass is right. You can only purchase themes for your WordPress.com blog from the themes available here – https://wordpress.com/design/type/all/.

  If you really want to use the Portfolio theme from The Theme Foundry, you will need to upload that on a self-hosted site using the WordPress.org software.
