  Hi I would like to transfer a domain to wordpress but it seems I have to pay € 96 for WordPress premium that I don’t need

  Domain transfer and mapping is only available with a paid plan.

  Having domain registrar and hoster at the same provider makes things much simpler and cheaper, though, as you only have to pay one provider for renewals each year, and you only need to log in at one place to manage everything.

  If you’d like to transfer your domain to WordPress.com completely, the cost for that is included in your plan, with domain mapping already added, and the transfer will also renew your domain for an additional year.
