    Hi, my teenage daughter is wanting to start a book blog and I’m wondering what is the best and cheapest way to go about this? Can I add her as a separate domain or site under my WordPress and do we have to have the same host or can we have two different hosts?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there!

    You can use the same WordPress admin login and have multiple sites under that, or create a new account for her. WordPress.com offers free plans as long as the domain contains “.WordPress.com” at the end of the URL. You can use that plan for her to blog whatever she’d like, free of cost!

    When you login to your WordPress admin panel (at http://www.WordPress.com/wp-admin) you have the option to choose your site on the left hand side, or add a new one. You can choose to add a new one there, but if you want to have a premium plan on the new website, you’ll need to purchase a new plan for every website you add. Putting another website under the same admin login doesn’t give you the same plan for each.

    If it were me, I’d just let her make her own account and create a free WordPress blog from her own account.
