I guess this is set up for high-speed users only. All I see is a little circle with a letter ‘W’ in it surrounded by a series of bars chasing themselves around the circle.

google pagespeed test gives your blog 94/100.a 100 is the best… thats about as good as it gets.
their only so much you can do for a visitor with dial up, but if you are still concerned:
put less posts on your front page, or use the “more” tag to hide content..Since you have so few images, and such a high speed rating, I doubt your page speed loading time will get much faster though.
BTW… that commenter could also just be a spam bot– I’m noticing the weird name.
