    Hi there,
1.) I’ve recently created this blog and it consists of a Home Page / Biographical Information / References / Video Page. When I go into edit the pages they appear to be laid out correctly with the correct content but if I’m on the Home Page and click on References or Video Page – the Biographical Info shows up on all 3 pages.

2.) I changed this page from Private so that I could get help but I want to make sure my settings are set up so that only people I share link with can view. I don’t want to provide passwords only the link if possible.

3.) Did I accidently create two blogs?? I only want the [redacted] blog.

Sorry for being a pain in the butt!! I appreciate your help.

    Kindest Regards,
    Kristie

    Howdy!

1.) I’ve recently created this blog and it consists of a Home Page / Biographical Information / References / Video Page. So your pages look great, but your menu is causing the trouble. Even though the menu item says “Video,” it’s linking to your Biographical Information page. Same thing for “References.”

Normally what I’d recommend here is deleting the menu here, and recreating it — since we only need three menu items. However, pages set to private can’t be added to menus.

Try this and let me know if it helps:

    1. Set your three pages to public.
    2. Visit your menu settings (here).
    3. Delete the menu (screenshot)
    4. Create a new menu, add all three pages (how-to), save the menu.
    5. Set the pages back to private if you wish

I changed this page from Private so that I could get help but I want to make sure my settings are set up so that only people I share link with can view. I don’t want to provide passwords only the link if possible.

If you don’t want to password-protect each page, the other option is to leave your site as Private, and then invite readers to become viewers:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/adding-users/#invite-people-to-view-your-private-blog

They will need to create a WordPress.com username (if they do not already have one) but this will grant them permission to read your site without have to give out passwords to anyone.

Did I accidently create two blogs??

Looks like you have another blog here:

    https://kristiehaz.wordpress.com/

You can delete that site by following these steps:

    Delete a Website

Or setting it to private is good too. Deleting a site is permanent and cannot be undone, so private saves the site and its name in case you want to use it later.

Hope that helps! Let me know if you hit any snags with these. :)
