  Hi there,

  The ability to upload your own videos and embed them is only available for WordPress.com Premium or Business accounta

  But you can embed videos from other sites (e.g. YouTube or Vimeo), even on a free account. Here is a link with some more information: https://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/
