  I want to unlock my domain that created with wordpress. My domain is http://www.69garage.com

  Hi @earthhz,

  I see you’ve deleted your site ’69garage.com’. Once you delete your site you can’t have the same domain name. Read the link below before doing so.

  As I’m a little unsure about recovering custom domain, I’ve added modlook tag in sidebar to get staff assistance to this thread.

  Can you please confirm if the custom domains can be recovered? If yes, is it for all or there are any exceptions?

  Hi folks, @krutidugade is right — when you cancel a domain, you don’t own it anymore. It is returned to the registrar.

  Sometimes we can get them back, but it’s a manual process, and sometimes the registrar charge us extra to get it back. We’re happy to try.

  If the domain was pretty new when it was cancelled (within about 2 days of registration), the registrar will often release the domain after several days.
