  Not sure how to upload a word doc to my blog in order to be a printable resouce for readers.

  Hi there,

  You can upload Word documents to your WordPress.com blog and insert them in posts or pages by using the Add Media button. We have a guide for this here: Uploading Documents

  If you want to embed the document in your blog (instead of just linking to it), you can use a service like Scribd by following this guide: Scribd
