Could we somehow get our domain back? We use it for our non-profit Google Workspace that powers our organisation. Right now none of our emails are working.

When you buy a domain because of ICAN-rules it cannot be transferred for 60 days. Best is to contact the provider that had registered your domain.

Our records show that ssvpsel.org expired on August 17.
Domain expiration is a lengthy and complicated process that takes about 80 days. During this time, your domain may be put up for auction or sold on back-order. You can learn more about domain expiration here:
However, the good news is that we may still be able to recover your domain at its regular renewal price of $18, and for that, I have already emailed you a payment request. Please reply back if you have submitted the payment so that we can begin the recovery process.
Please note that if in the meantime, your domain enters into redemption, then a late renewal fee of $80 will be added to the regular price of renewal. This fee is charged by the domain registry and is not one that we can waive.

Hi fstat thanks for the quick reply. We have submitted the payment but I don’t have access to the email because that’s handled by another office member. I only have access to this WordPress account as a webmaster.
Do I need access to that email address?

Yes, you need access to that email as that includes the link to submit payment.
On our end, we still show the payment request we sent two days ago as unpaid. I just resent it to the email address on file for the account.
Please respond here when it has been paid as we are not notified when payment is submitted.

I do recommend checking in your account purchases settings to ensure payment information is up to date to ensure it renews automatically next year.
