  Hi. when I forward my domain over here I cannot link to files I have hosted with my server. Is there any way I can do this?

  Howdy,

  You might consider mapping a subdomain to your WordPress.com blog:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-subdomain/

  Thanks for the advice, but I do want my blog to come up as my main site. Im thinking hosting the files on the subdomain may solve this?

  Here is the situation.

  I own the domain and I have it pointing here to the blog I have created. My hosting is with godaddy. I am having a major problems uploading files to my server and linking to them. It tries to open up a wordpress page that isnt there. Here is an example

  How do I get around this? I want the wordpress page to be what comes up when visiting my domain but I also need to host podcasts and other types of files on there and be able to give the links to people to share the files.

  Any help is appreciated.

  Yeah, that won’t work because your domain is pointed here now, not at your hosting space.

  You’ll either need to move the files here, or map a subdomain, like blog.beyondmusiconline.com
