Hidden categories

I have a category on my blog called “algorithms” that is available in the post editor but not on categories page! all the subcategories are hidden too.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Do you mean http://kamyarns.wordpress.com/category/algorithms/ ?
To access it you need to either add a categories widget
http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/categories-widget/
Or you need to create a custom menu and add the categories and sub-categories pages to it.

But I mean it’s disappeared in admin area (/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=category) -

Is it possible that you are referring to a Tag?
I did not see an algorithm Category, but I noticed that you have both algorithm and algorithms Tags:
