Hidden Header Title Shows in Mobile Version

I have my site title hidden–meaning the “show header text with your image” option is not checked under appearance. But it shows up on the mobile version of my site. How do I also hide the title in the mobile version? It is redundant because my header image also includes the title of my site. I know I could leave the “site title” option blank, but that doesn’t look good at the top of the browser page. Any ideas? Thanks!

I’m having the same problem (using the Twenty Eleven theme). Anyone know how to fix it?

  • At this time, there is no way to hide the title in our mobile theme.

However, Twenty Eleven is fully responsive, so please feel free to disable the mobile theme via Appearance -> Mobile in your blog’s Dashboard.

Twenty Eleven will properly adjust to any screen size and will of course maintain its own settings across all devices.
