Hidden Image Code No Longer Working
-
My knowledge in this area is pretty limited so I’m not exactly sure how to describe this problem except that for a few years now, I’ve been using the following code I got from WP forums on all my photos as a simple step to deter some people from saving and distributing my photos:
<img class=”aligncenter” style=”background:transparent url(‘http://lestismitethee.files.wordpress.com/2010/03/sl7425421blog1.jpg’) 0 0 no-repeat;border:0;height:300px;width:224px;margin:0 auto;padding:0;” src=”http://csswiz.files.wordpress.com/2009/08/nothing.gif” alt=”” />
For some reason, the person who supplied the link “http://csswiz.files.wordpress.com/2009/08/nothing.gif” has marked their blog private so now there’s a broken image icon on all of my photos. Can someone tell me how I can make a replacement for this gif and upload it onto my own blog so I’ll always have it, or give me a new one? I just tried making another “nothing.gif” image but it’s not working; it tries to replace the entire image with nothing.
Thanks for any help.

Bummer! You can make a 1×1 transparent background replacement with an image editing program such as Photoshop or Gimp. Gimp is free and open source.
