Hidding the subheadings in my Recipes page
-
Hi,
I have several page tabs at the top of my blog and they also appear at the bottom as well. The problem is that I can see all of the recipes I’ve added to that one page. The list has become quite lengthy and I’ve read that I could hide certain templates but the directions for doing so are not clear. I cannot seem to find the options that are listed on the page.
What would be really ideal is to have each of the recipes listed on one page but then hyper linked with the bulk of the information appearing on another page. I just can’t figure out how to do this. There has got to be a simple fix but I’m just not seeing it.
Can you please help?
Thank you so very much.

OK there are many ways to do exactly what you want to do and my ideas can be developed further by somebody else who wants to chip in.
1) Your Menu items can be categorised so that they form part of a drop down Menu system;
2) You can create a list – ordered list, unordered list, or DD list (may be not suitable here) and link each recipe to a separate page. The pages are already done so it is a question of creating a list and linking them to your pages.
3) You could also create customs Menu so that it is only visible when your users are on a particular page;
Hope this gets you started but as I said, it can be developed when you know what exactly you have decided to do.
Good luck.
