Hide a post from the home page

  Hi,

  Would it be possible to hide a post from the home page, and have it accessible only via link/category/menu?

  Hello David, I’ve been having the same issue and even posted in the forums about it as well as another member. Only difference is at the moment I do not have my own domain. For some reason there seem to be several plugins that would address this issue promptly had I had a self-hosted wordpress.org site; however, I cannot understand for the life of me why there is no hide-a-post option via wordpress.com as I have seen at least 20 members within the last 2 hours inquire about the same thing. I will definitely keep checking back to see if you were able to find any solutions. After searching for 2 days now, I’ve just about given up hope.

  There is no such thing as hiding a post from the blogs page on a wordpress.com site unless you are asking can you make a post password protected or private. The answers to both are yes.

  There are some plugins for wordpress.org that allow hiding a post from a specific page, e.g.:
  https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-hide-post/

  Would it be possible to have something similar implemented in wordpress.com?
