Hide an empty page that is also a top level menu item
-
I have a menu with top and sub level items, each of which are their own page (of course) and for one of the top level items, I want to hide the actual page so that nothing happens when you click on it in the menu, except for the dropdown menu appearing.

This is a little complicated, but it can be done.
First of all, if you aren’t already using a custom menu, follow the instructions here to create one.
Then, to create a menu item that is not clickable but will contain submenu items, add a custom link menu item and put a # symbol in the URL field instead of an actual link. Then you can drag the submenu items underneath that item and remove the original top level item you wanted to replace.
Let me know if this doesn’t make sense or if you need more help.
