Hide dates from posts
-
Hi I am using the Cubic theme. My front page is intended to serve as the main menu. I therefore do not want the dates to show. Please remove the dates for me as I cannot find the answer anywhere. I cannot believe I have to pay for premium membership to remove an option i don’t even want.
Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

To be crystal clear on this there is no free way to do what you want to do.
The separate custom design upgrade can be purchased and renewed as a separate upgrade only by those who have username accounts registered prior to September 1st, 2014.
Your username account was registered March 21, 2010 (4 years ago). You have to purchase the premium bundle of upgrades. You do have to purchase a custom design upgrade though.
See here for details on purchasing the annually renewable custom and CSS editing:

Edit to include two missing words.
You do not have to purchase the premium bundle of upgrades. You do have to purchase a custom design upgrade though.

I am a pauper living on $5 a day and I think that this is a very dishonest ploy on the part of WordPress. Actually having to PAY to remove something I didn’t want.
I would like to know how to recuperate my registered site name, as I can write the HTML for that kind of page myself and chuck it up on freehostia. Thanks

We WordPress.OM blogger all have to pay to remove the dates no matter which theme we choose. There has never been a means of removing dates other than by css editing and we have never been able to do css editing without purchasing a custom design upgrade.
You can move your content to another site of your own choosing and you can repoint the nameservers for your domain URL to wherever that may be.
See here:

http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/move-domain/#change-name-servers-to-point-the-domain-outside-of-wordpress-com and here http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/move-domain/ -
Edit:
Replace “WordPress.OM blogger” with
WordPress.COM bloggers
(I apologize for the typos. I am visually challenged). -
Also note that we all have the opportunity to switch to using themes that lack features like dates and timestamps at any time.
