Hide external URLs/links?
-
My blog contains several links to external pictures, pdfs, etc. which are physically hosted elsewhere. When the user clicks on any of these items it shows them a “Connecting to http://…” that displays the full path to my library — I don’t want that!
Is there a way to keep the URL from being displayed? (Tried “hiderefer.com” but that still shows my library).
Here’s where a few are — http://anewvaya.wordpress.com/2009/02/13/termsandtitles/
Thanks in advance

Unfortunately your blog is protected meaning that anyone apart from staff and those you choose are unable to see it.
And I’m not too sure I understand your problem.

You can’t really anonymize the hosting of images on a WP.com blog. I recommend you just upload the images to your blog, because anyone ON your blog already knows which blog they’re on, so saying the image is hosted there doesn’t give away information about your other accounts, identities, etc.
