Hide featured image from top of post
-
Hi there I need some help with my website: http://jymobi.ca/
I’m interested in hiding the featured images that show up on top of my posts but keep it displayed on the main page. So when someone wants to read an article they don’t have to scroll past the featured image to see the text.
Any help would be much appreciated!
Thank you.

To hide featured images only on single posts, try this in your custom CSS:
.single-post .attachment-post-thumbnail { display: none; }Let me know how it goes.

Hi there.
It worked really great! Thank you. A few more question:
1. Do you know how hide the featured image from the top of pages? For example in my services page [http://jymobi.ca/services/] I’m using the motif grid so I’d like the image to show on the grid page but disappear when they view the page.
2. Is there a code to centre the foot menu at the bottom of the main page?
3. Is there a code to centre the copy right information?
4. Is there a way to centre a single grid on the grid page? For example, I’d like to change my about me page from a full width page to a grid page and make my bio a child page.Thank you for your help!

1. You would have to use CSS to focus on every page so for the Small Groups page it would be:
#post-892 > div.entry-thumbnail img {
display: none;
}Your other two pages change the 892 to 890 and then 941 if you use additional pages add those styles in as well.
I hope this helps.

It looks like you’re already getting help on your other CSS questions privately with staff in another thread, so I’m going to close this for now so we don’t repeat efforts. :-)
