Hide Featured Image – Show Sidebars on all pages

    The linked blog I am experimenting with is using the “Responsive Theme” (by Cyberchimps). My question is about features associated with the “Home” template (under “Page Attributes”), which is currently the active template on my blog.

    Using CSS upgrade, how do I:

    1) Hide the “Featured Image” on the “Home” template?
    2) Show the Left, Middle and Right Sidebar/Widget Areas on ALL pages or selected pages? (These sidebars by default only display with the “Home” template.)

    Is this possible with CSS?

    Any help is much appreciated!

    Meant to say, the “Home” template is active for my static, home page on my blog. All other pages are using the “default” template.

    Hi there,

    1. Are you talking about the image to the right of the “Massage Therapy in Montgomery, AL” text? If so, this would hide the featured image and make the text that was to the left of it full width:

    .home #featured-image {
        display: none;
    }
    .home .col-460 {
        width: 100%;
    }

    2. Those widgets only show on the main “home” template and there is no way to add them to other pages via CSS. Where they appear is set in the theme PHP script files and we cannot edit those.

    Hi sacredpath,

    Yes, you interpreted part 1 of my question correctly and the CSS you provided did the trick! (I tested on an unpublished page)

    I figured part 2 was a long shot, but thought I would ask.

    I really appreciate your help!
