Hide follower count
-
I remember that at one point you could hide or make your blog’s number of followers private but I can’t remember where I saw it.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Visit My Sites > Customize > Widgets > Search for > Follow Button (Widget)
> Click On it > Untick Show Follower Count.Check this Screenshot
Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks! -
Hello! I’m trying to do the same thing (hide my count), but it’s unchecked and still shows the number.
The difference is that I’m using the “action bar” option (the one that pops up at the bottom of the page and disappears when you scroll) rather than a widget.
The number doesn’t show on my other page… the page in question is:
villageportland.com
Thank you

I’m trying to not display the number of followers, not on a widget, but on the “action bar” follow function. (That’s the one that pops up when you go to the main page, and disappears when you scroll.)
I don’t have any widgets active, so that doesn’t apply to my issue.
My site is: villageportland.com
If you have any ideas, I’d really appreciate it.

Hi @andrewtaylorwilkins, if the tips @neelgajjar sent earlier didn’t work for you, will you start a new topic here?
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/?new=1You can add a “modlook” tag if you’d like to get staff attention.
That way the people who have been working on this topic won’t get unwanted notifications as we troubleshoot your issue. I’ll go ahead and close this topic for now. Cheers!
