hide footer after blog entry in twentyten
-
I would like to get rid of the footer under each post that says “Posted in Uncategorized | Comments Off”. Not sure how to do it. I don’t want it on any new posts either. Is that possible?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

sorry to be a numpty but where exactly do you post that … and do you have to put other stuff round it … tried putting at the end of the post and .entry-utility {display:none; } just showed there …

is there a way to use .entry-utility {display:none; } but still keep my comments. All i want to delete is the tags really
-
Comments are under a separate selector, so they will not be affected by the display none on .entry-utility.
-
Im using Tweny Ten and it removes the comments with that code, is there a specific code for tags?
-
It doesn’t remove the comments, it removes the line of stuff below the post, which includes a comment “link.”
To remove just categories and tags, use the following.
.entry-utility .cat-links, .entry-utility .tag-links, .entry-utility .meta-sep { display: none; } -

do you know how to take it off the single page on the twenty ten theme too? the code doesn’t work, maybe because it is php
-
You mean the single post page where it says, “This entry was posted in … and tagged…”
That is all directly under .entry-utility. If you do a “display none” there to get rid of it on the single-post page, then you will lose the “comment” link on the main page. The single post page meta stuff is not separated out like on the main page.

Thanks again and sorry just one more question, do you know how to remove the tags on the alibi3col theme?

That is a theme for self-hosted blogs. We know nothing about it. Talk to the theme designer or hit the actual support forums for self-hosted blogs which is at http://wordpress.ORG/support/ .
These forums are only for blogs hosted here at wordpress.COM.
